Rush lost the Ring of Honor Championship this past week at Final Battle, but he is looking the dominate Ring of Honor in 2020. He isn’t looking to do it alone this time. He has formed a branch of the Los Ingobernables stable in Ring Of Honor. Rush is a founding member of the original Los Ingobernables stable down in Mexico, where he formed it alongside La Máscara and La Sombra (aka Andrade Almas). The faction has a very popular branch in Japan as well. Los Ingobernables De Japon is the best merch seller in NJPW, with Tetusya Naito as their leader.
Only A Matter of Time
It was only a matter of time with Rush in Ring of Honor that he would create a branch there. He is flanked by his brother and new ROH TV Champion Dragon Lee and Kenny King. “La Faccion Ingobernable” is what they are to be called. With Ring of Honor in a dire situation, a strong faction could be just what they need. With partnerships with CMLL & NJPW, we can expect to see members of their branches of Los Ingobernables show up to help their new partners in ROH.
Rush can’t be done with PCO following his defeat at Final Battle
Rush is not the type of man to take a loss lightly, especially when it was the first time he was pinned in Ring of Honor. He will be looking for revenge against PCO, and with Dragon Lee & Kenny King backing him up, the odds will be a bit more even. PCO is a member of Villian Enterprises with Brody King, Flip Gordan, and Marty Scrull. With Marty rumored to be on his way out of ROH, that puts both factions at 3 members. Seems like a fair fight to me. Villian Enterprises currently hold the ROH Trios Titles. So watch for La Faccion Ingobernable to take those in 2020.
ROH in 2020
2019 was a bad year for Ring Of Honor. After an awful showing in Madison Square Garden, and countless controversies coming from backstage, they need to rebuild their image and fanbase in 2020. They were once known as the home of the best wrestling in America. Now brands like AEW & WWE NXT have that niche well filled. They relied on NJPW talent for excitement, but NJPW are starting their own branch in America.
ROH needs to figure out who they are in the industry now, and use their talented roster properly, and they will rise again. Otherwise, they might be doomed.
