WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues, following Elias defeating Cesaro in the last segment. Goldberg coming up soon. Out comes King Corbin now, furious, pointing at his crown to say this means he is the King of the Ring and that means he should be respected. Says that Roman Reigns should’ve lost last week, he should’ve been the one covered in dogfood. Says he can’t do anything without his little lapdogs, asks when the Usos are gonna realize they’re carrying deadweight? If Roman fought him one-on-one, man to man at the Rumble, Corbin would’ve beaten him there too and won the Rumble match. Corbin says that as your king, he wants… he deserves, he demands one more match with Roman Reigns!
King Corbin says as he is the king here on SmackDown, the show is going no further until he gets Roman Reigns “right here in the middle of this ring”. He says this as he is still standing on the ramp. Corbin bickers with the crowd for how much they enjoyed seeing him get humiliated. He hugs some guy in the front row and points him out as really enjoying it, grabs a cup and pours it over him. He asks for a water and is about to do it again when Roman Reigns’ music hits and it is truly something that we are going on with this. Superman Punch, throws him into the barrier! That same fan hands Roman a cup and he pours it over Corbin, drives his face into the steps, Drive-By Dropkick lays him out.
Corbin runs off as Reigns rolls into the match, grabs a microphone. Says if the coward wants one more match, he’s got it. And if he wants it one-on-one, they’ll do it inside a steel cage. Sounds like a Super Show-Down match to me.
And now… for his much hyped appearance, APPEARING BY SATELITTE, it’s Bill Goldberg.
He says that last week he watched the Royal Rumble with his boy and it was inspiring, it got him that itch again. He knows his old pal Brock Lesnar has his hands full with Ricochet and Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship, but what about the Universal Championship? Notes that his Universal title reign was short and he never did get a rematch. He might be making a mistake but-
The Firefly Funhouse interrupts! Bray says “Yowie-wowie” in the most newscaster voice possible and I lost it. Says William Goldberg is considering challenging the Fiend for the WWE Universal Championship. Oh Billy! That’s a problem because, word on the street is… he accepts. Buzzy says it’ll be a cold day in Hell before he loses the Universal title. Goldberg doesn’t want to put up with this. Tells the Fiend that he’s next! Bray says that wasn’t very nice… let me in. Waves bye to Bill.
