Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match
Lashley and R-Truth are the first entrants. Lashley gets truth into a headlock, Truth fights out of it Lashley rebounds with a shoulder tackle to knock Truth down. Truth gets up with the top rope Makabe strikes for a bit, Lashley gets out and knocks him down to the floor. Lashley lets him sit there for a bit, eventually goes down and drives him into the barricade, gets him back into the ring, slams him into the corner turnbuckle and starts striking him there, runs across the ring to hit him again, Truth crumbles down to the floor. Lashley gets truth up for a delayed verical suplex, covers, Truth kicks out, Lashley gets him into a headlock on the mat.
Truth gets out and applies a sleeper hold to Lashley, who escapes that and then they exchange blows and running strikes. Truth plants Lashley, does Cena’s five knuckle shuffle, tries to get him up for the AA, can’t, hits him with his jumping kick thing, Lashley nails truth with a flatliner, stalks him in the corner, charges Truth, trips over him, gets tunned in the corner, Truth rolls him up and gets the pin. Lashley has been eliminated. Truth celebrates, Lashley starts beating the crap out of him, throwing him out to the floor, throwing him into the post, into the stairs, gets him back into the ring, nails him with a spear.
Andrade is the next entrant.
Andrade goes right to the corner to kick Truth while he’s down, looking ready to go. Official shooes him off, Andrade charges back to the corner to strike again, gets him into an armbar with the ropes for a bit before the ref chases him off, gets him down and starts kicking him even more. Andrade works the arm on the mat and Truth appears to be bleeding a bit. Andrade whips Truth over by the head, grabs him again, sends him into the corner and strikes him with kicks and knees, stomping on his chest, goes to taunt in the center of the ring for a while. Gives him the old double knees finisher, Truth kicks out. Andrade looks slightly annoyed , knees Truth in the face, Truth manages to drive him into the corner, Andrade fights out, works his arm a little more, chops him in the face.
Andrade keeps taunting, pulls the kneepad down, tries to knee Truth, misses, strikes the turnbuckle, stumbles out of the ring (this actually looked nasty), gets back in, Truth strikes him, tries to go for a suplex, Andrade grabs him arm, Truth bounces off the ropes to punch him in the face. Truth… I shit you not, this just happened, collapsed to the mat, exhausted, covers Andrade in his fatigue, and… pins Andrade, just like that. Andrade has been eliminated.
Erick Rowan is the next entrant.
Rowan gets Truth in the corner with a running clothesline, hits him with a diving elbow, starts striking him down on the mat. Truth gets to his feet, keeps rowan away with his feet, Truth gets Rowan out of the ring, diving out of the ring to pursue him. Truth climbs back into the ring, Rowan’s on his hands and knees. Truth goes to get Rowan back into the ring, Rowan dropkicks him right into the steps, gets his dumb cage on the apron, then turns his attention back to Truth, starts slamming his head into the steps. Headbutt to Truth, Rowan grabs the steps, runs right into Truth to slam the steps into his shoulder for the DQ. Erick Rowan has been eliminated. He throws Truth back into the ring, he doesn’t seem to be done… he grabs Truth by the neck, planting him with a claw slam. Now he’s done. Rowan grabs his cage and leaves, talking to the cage on his way out.
AJ Styles is the next entrant to a big pop.
AJ throws his vest out, takes his shirt off, dude has a big shit eating grin on his face. Truth can’t even stand up and strike, AJ mocks him, kicks Truth in the face, keeps showboating and kicking him while he’s down, taking his time with this. Truth keeps selling, AJ keeps fighting at a very casual pace, and it looks like this is going to go on for a while. AJ’s spending more time dancing around the ring than he is fighting. AJ grabs him by the leg, kicks him in the shins, backs off and keeps showboating. Styles gets Truth into the Calf Crusher, and Truth finally taps. R-Truth has been eliminated.
Rey Mysterio is the last entrant.
Rey’s music hits but he doesn’t come out. AJ pretends to look confused, but he seems to know something we don’t… Rey’s music hits again, AJ keeps looking cocky, commentary is starting to question Rey’s whereabouts… and now we cut to Gallows and Anderson ganging up on Rey. AJ grabs the mic, says Rey isn’t getting up from that, declares himself the champion by forfeit, demands the ref raise his hand, Rey isn’t coming out. The ref doesn’t go for it, AJ calls him the worst ref in the business, demands the timekeeper ring the bell and give him the trophy. Timekeeper seems hesitant, AJ berates him and demands his trophy. The ref talks to the timekeeper, timekeeper announces that if Rey doesn’t make it out by the ten count, AJ wins by default. Now we cut back to Gallows, selling on the floor, Anderson gets tossed down, writhing in pain.
We can only see a figure’s leg walk past. AJ is losing it, arguing with the ref, and… out comes the Undertaker. The rumors are true, this is how we’re getting the mania match it looks like. Taker’s music hits and AJ looks spooked out of his mind. Taker comes out to a huge reaction, starts walking down the ramp, and it’s Taker so of course his whole entrance takes a while. AJ gets in Taker’s face, starts pointing fingers, tries to hit him… and gets chokeslammed for his troubles. Taker pins him, just like that.
Winner: The Undertaker
Well I think it’s fair to say that was not the prediction.
