WWE Elimination Chamber is underway! Below you will see the results from every match as they come, plus links to recaps!
Pre-Show: On the Kickoff show, the Viking Raiders Erik & Ivar took on Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder. It was strangely much more competitive than it really should’ve been, a pretty well-worked match, which saw the Viking Raiders get the victory.
Segment 1: In the opener of the main card, Daniel Bryan faced off with Drew Gulak in the latter’s hometown. It was a great technical classic in which Gulak surprisingly really took it to Bryan. It was a match unlike what you tend to see in WWE, both in terms of how pure and crisp it was but also how brutal it tended to get. In the end, Bryan reversed the Gulock into the Yes Lock to get the hard-fought victory.
Segment 2: In a WWE United States Championship match, Andrade defended the gold against Humberto Carrillo. In another fast paced lucha libre battle, Andrade retained with a hook of the pants after a lengthy series of roll-ups.
Segment 3: The Tag Team Elimination Chamber match saw the Usos last through the whole match, tons of pod dives, Otis smashing himself through glass all the way to the floor, and at the end of it all… the champs, Miz and Morrison retained.
Segment 4: Aleister Black and AJ Styles fought tooth and nail in a No DQ match. Eventually the OC swarmed in on Black, signalling the Undertaker to make his presence felt to aid him to victory.
Segment 5: With the Viking Raiders helping to neutralize the AOP and a run-in from Kevin Owens, the Street Profits retained the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.
Segment 6: In a three-on-one handicap match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Braun ran through Shinsuke and Cesaro for most of the match but could never quite get his hands on Sami Zayn. In the end, a Helluva Kick/Double Suplex got Sami the victory, and the IC title.
Segment 7: In the Elimination Chamber match that was thought to be the most foregone conclusion of any of them… well it turned out to be exactly true! One by one, Shayna Baszler eliminated Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Natalya, Liv Morgan and finally Asuka, each of them going down to the Kirifuda Clutch. Suffice to say, she won the match. She will thusly face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.
