In the WWE, one of the best current tag teams is the twin brothers Jimmy & Jey Uso, known as simply The Usos. While their matches have been fantastic, and they got a renewed interest a few years back when they debuted new characters with more personality, yet they have begun to get stale once again. They are going to run out of fresh matches soon, but there could be a way to freshen up their act, that being their brother Sefa Fatu joining the mix.
Sefa Fatu Could Make The Usos Into A Trio
The greatest feud of The Usos has been with The New Day, consisting of Kofi Kingston, Big E and the currently injured Xavier Woods. They have had some of the best tag team matches in recent memory, with highlights like their innovative Hell In A Cell match over the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. However, fans have even cooled off on that feud as it has been repeated time and time again.
Adding in a third man with Sefa Fatu would allow for some six man tag team matches with teams like Lucha House Party, Forgotten Sons, and The New Day, which could help spruce up the Smackdown tag team division.
Sefa Fatu recently tweeted out “What happens NXT? It gone be a problem” which seems to indicate that he will be making his way to WWE. With his relation to the Usos and being the son of Rikishi, he could be fast tracked to Smackdown Live.
Would Roman Reigns Be Better In This Role?
The Usos have occasionally had a third man in their corner, that being their cousin Roman Reigns, who is a multiple time world champion. Reigns recently walked out on Wrestlemania 36 ahead of a major match with Goldberg where he was expected to become Universal Champion once again.
WWE could be spiteful about this, meaning Roman will be out of the main event scene once he returns to the company. Placing him in the tag team division alongside The Usos would be a good way to keep him on TV in a smaller role, and could allow his character to grow as well.
Do you think WWE is going to add Sefa Fatu to the Usos? Will this freshen their act up? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
