Baby shower fun
There are few couple of daytime television that can capture fun and entertainment as well as Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). They’re also great at the serious angles, but with any luck that skillset won’t be on display here.
Instead, we should get a heartwarming group of scenes that have them relaxed and laughing as Chloe is showered with gifts and Kevin finds way to dig himself in deeper with whatever trouble he can get into.
Honestly, the only thing that we can expect to go wrong here is Chloe goes into labor. But the writers wouldn’t do anything like that, right? Right?
Okay, maybe it’ll be a good idea for Kevin to keep that emergency plan at hand in case Chloe’s water breaks. They already had one scare, so it’s perfect timing for another one. No party in Genoa City ever goes off without a hitch.
Victor’s damage control
With his children all running around and nipping at each other, Victor has found himself in a position that’s not enviable. On one hand, he has to deal with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who has no intention of stopping what she’s doing unless she’s put back in charge of Newman Enterprises, and even then she probably won’t be the same reliable father’s little girl she used to be. She feels betrayed, and rightfully so, but when pushed on it, she can’t put the faith in her father she’s claimed to have since day one.
The there’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who not only outmaneuvered him, but made him look weak and helpless in front of his family. Adam tried to be the good son and do what was needed, but his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and father wouldn’t let him.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers believe the damage control will be focused on Adam as Victor may go to him to explain what really happened and appeal to the man Adam wanted to be for the family. This seems like the way it’ll go as rumors are circulating that Victor will have regained control of Newman Enterprises this week.
If this is true, then Adam stepping aside will give him the respect he’s wanted from Victor. Unless, of course, Victor intends to destroy him and show how vindictive he can be for being so humiliated.
In the world of Victor Newman, anything is possible.
