Nostalgia is a great thing, and with the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown it’s something CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers has been enjoying the last couple of weeks as we’ve gotten to see some great classics centered around Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but tomorrow, April 24, 2020, “The Young and the Restless” are changing things up for us.

Phyllis day
Okay, yes, we gripe about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a lot, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love her, and tomorrow’s episode is going to be a really cool and fun throwback to 1996. The episode will be the one focusing on Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson)’s Caribbean honeymoon, which also included Phyllis but in an unexpected way.
What’s really cool about this is Michelle Stafford is opening the episode with a brief introduction CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers hope will include some of her favorite moments from the episode and maybe another memory or two. It’s treasures like this that make it really fun when we get to see these again.
Getting back to the preview/recap, Christine and Paul go to Nevis for their honeymoon and take a quick dip in the hotel’s pool. Everything’s right in their world until an unexpected pair of eyes spot them.
This unexpected crossing of paths gives Phyllis the opportunity for some “harmless” fun. But to have said fun, she can’t let herself be seen so she ducks under the water when Christine and Paul are leaving.
It doesn’t take her long to think of what she can do to them, and though this is a spoilery kind of preview, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers don’t want to give away everything to those of us that haven’t seen it yet.
We can offer one fun little tidbit, and that’s an octopus finds its way into Paul and Christine’s honeymoon bed. Phyllis may or may not be at fault in this or other mishaps aimed at torturing the crap out of Christine.
To be honest, this is an episode that’s loaded with fun and gives us a glimpse into the characters’ earlier lives. Plus, it gives us a chance to compare then to now. It’s something that happens quite a bit, and has gained some steam over the last couple of weeks with new material running low for them to share.
We’re going to be in for a fun ride the next couple of weeks, so let’s sit back and enjoy it. It’s not going to last forever.
With old favorites and new colliding, remember to check out CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest spoilers, updates, and speculation around.
