While he will never be named The Exalted One, Marty Scurll has found a great niche for himself in wrestling as the head booker of Ring Of Honor. Once a member of The Elite & Bullet Club, Scurll now heads up Villian Enterprises with Brody King, Flip Gordan and former Ring Of Honor Champion PCO. He has kept himself busy, but following an appearance on another episode of Being The Elite people are now wondering what the future holds for Marty Scurll and ROH. Will they ever work with All Elite Wrestling?

Marty Scurll Says There Is Always A Chance

During an interview as part of the ROHStrong Podcast, Scurll would let fans know that there is still a non-zero chance that AEW & ROH will work together. “Both parties are definitely willing to work with each other. It’s just a matter of timing, I guess, I’m not saying anything will happen, I’m just saying I wouldn’t rule it out. There’s no reason why we wouldn’t. It’s just that the timing needs to be correct and it needs to be a fitting situation for us to work together. I personally would like to see it happen at some point.”

Ring Of Honor On The Rise Again

Should Scurll be able to get the union between Ring Of Honor & All Elite Wrestling off the ground, his time backstage in ROH will have been a resounding success. They have been a company on the upswing, and while they have been struggling due to COVID-19 shutting down events, they had generated some serious hype with the build to their 18th anniversary show that never happened, with names like Jay White booked. They have built up a talented roster with standout names like RUSH, Dragon Lee, PCO, Tracy Williams, Jay Lethal & Bandido. ROH is doing everything right, just at the worst possible time.

A reunion show of sorts with old talent was planned, with as many old stars as they could get coming back, including the forgotten ROH Champion, Xavier who was set to come out of retirement. They have been posting classic matches near daily to YouTube to keep Ring Of Honor in the minds of their fans.
