Should John Cena Wrestle Again After The Firefly Funhouse Match?

Last night at Wrestlemania 36, fans witnessed one of the most unique experience in Wrestlemania history. This was the Firefly Funhouse Match, which saw John Cena enter a battle of the mind with Bray Wyatt and his persona of ‘The Fiend’. It ended with John Cena being pinned by The Fiend and vanishing. Should this be the final in ring appearance of John Cena?

The Firefly Funhouse Match Was An Exploration Of The Greatest Fears Of John Cena

It was a dissection of John Cena, taking looks at key moments of his career, and the fears that came with it. From having a bad debut to the ever impending heel turn, Cena was forced to face his biggest fears over the course of this match. Bray Wyatt took him back to the past, even forcing him to relive his debut against Kurt Angle where he showed Ruthless Aggression, but with him instead just looking like a fool.

It ended with the most over hyped, undeserving superstar in WWE history being removed. John Cena said that in the final promo before the match in regards to Bray Wyatt, but it was turned onto him in the end.

Cena Can Live On As A Puppet In The Firefly Funhouse

With this likely being his last appearance for quite some time, and while we are likely to see him show up a few more times, there is an easy way to keep him on TV in the meantime. He seems to have been trapped within the Firefly Funhouse, and could be part of the cast now as a puppet. It would be a great continuation for the story, and we could see it end with him returning to have the original match with The Fiend down the line in front of a crowd.

If this is the last time we do see Cena compete however, this was an incredibly memorable moment and feud to close out his Hall Of Fame career. Hollywood has been his priority in recent years, and WWE is moving on without him and attempting to raise up new stars. Do you think this could be the last time we see John Cena? Will he reemerge with a wellness policy strike after what was just a bad trip? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
