Nothing like a celebrity infused episode to make CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers do a little jig. What makes this one even more fun is it falls into the typical guest star role that was popular through the 1980s and 1990s (it aired on June 11, 1998), mainly on sitcoms. In this case, they brought in one of the top recording artists at the time who happened to be at or nearing his apex — Usher Raymond.
This is where things get a little strange, and CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers have come up with an interesting thought on this. Usher is playing himself but not himself. While his character shares his name, it’s a fictionalized version of him. But at the end of the episode, he becomes romantically linked to Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz), who eventually becomes pregnant and there’s a debate whether it was Raymond or her boyfriend, Rick Forrester (Jacob Young).
Maybe his later songs Confessions and Confessions Part 2 were inspired by this storyline?
Anyway, back to the episode at hand.

Special friend
Amber surprises all of her friends after she invites her ninth grade friend, Usher Raymond (Usher Raymond), to perform an original song at Insomnia. He’s the biggest sensation in Los Angeles, and was looking for some place to rehearse his new song with an audience present. It’s her way of helping him, and maybe getting a little something in return like popularity.
Of course, not everyone there is pleased to see him or his close relationship with Amber. C.J. Garrison (William Bell) lets his feelings be known and after Raymond dedicates a heartfelt song to Amber, he suggests she call Rick.
She refuses, saying they talked earlier and he was cold and angry and she didn’t want to deal with him anymore that night.
C.J. leaves after this, and a waitress comes over and hands her a note with Raymond’s hotel and phone number written down.
CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers would like to point out this would’ve been a good time for her to have listened to C.J., but people do what they do.
Bye bye Stephanie
Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) are at odds over her anger and bitterness toward Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Eric’s had enough.
While the gossipers go about their business, Stephanie enters Eric’s office so they can talk about what’s happening. She begins by explaining what happened with Brooke, and that she only wanted to show her she had Stephanie’s full support.
This is true, but Eric had the soap opera timing of walking in when Stephanie was throwing a fit, so it’s hard for him to forget that. He says that because of her antics, Brooke isn’t able to be with her children. It was why he told Stephanie to stay away, but she didn’t listen. Now, with her anger running amok, he feels there’s no choice but to end things with her.
This is a heartbreaking turn for two of the show’s original four, but it also makes for an exciting and emotional episode, making it difficult for CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers to take sides in this.
