Much like Tony Nese in the A-Block, Jack Gallagher would find himself unable to make it to the finals after losing both of his matches so far. He can still play spoiler when he faces Isaiah Scott, who comes into this match with a 1-1 record. Would a pissed off Gallagher be able to ruin the dreams of Swerve?
Tony Nese Helps A Fellow 205 Live Original In Jack Gallagher
This would be made easier as Tony Nese would run down the ramp before the bell could ring, sending Swerve into the ring steps. He had taken offense to a comment made by Swerve earlier in the show, saying that if he couldn’t win a match in this tournament, he would just quit wrestling due to embarrassment. While they might not see eye to eye, the 205 Live originals still have a tight bond. Swerve would still want to fight, but Gallagher would take advantage early dashing in with the Gentlemans Dropkick. This would almost win the match in record time, but Swerve got his foot on the bottom rope. Gallagher would be relentless in his assault, punishing Swerve with a flurry of strikes.
Isaiah Scott Is Not A Quitter, But Isn’t Invincible
After Gallagher would slow the pace down with a tight submission, Swerve would show signs of life fight out and launch some strikes of his own before tripping up Gallagher to try to hit a German Suplex. He would not be successful, but would dodge a second attempt at the Gentlemans Dropkick in the corner, sending Gallagher onto his head. Swerve would hit The House Call kick, which had Gallagher seeing stars but only got a two count. Swerve would attempt a rolling elbow but Gallagher caught Swerve in a deadly guillotine choke, but that would be countered into an attempt at a suplex, but Gallagher would fight out and hit a big rolling elbow for the win.
This victory ensures that Gallagher doesn’t end up win-less like Nese, but it will still be impossible for him to reach the finals. He might have just stopped Swerve from reaching that finals as well. Who will win the B-Block? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
