Two weeks ago, we saw Karrion Kross make his NXT debut at the expense of Leon Ruff. This week, action would kick off with him claiming another victim. After another chilling entrance thanks to Scarlett, his next opponent would materialize in the corner of the smoke. This would be Liam Gray, and tonight would not be his night.
Karrion Kross Makes Quick Work Of His Opponent
Liam Gray knew that if he wanted to have a slight chance at victory over Kross, he needed to act fast. He would dash across the ring and dive at his opponent with a cross body, only to be caught in an Exploder Suplex. Following this, Kross would grab Gray and hit a Northern Lights Suplex, rolling back to his feet from it and using his brutish strength to hit a Doomsday Saito. Gray was all but defeated this point, and would be popped up into the Kross Jacket, and quickly tapped out.
However this night had just begun for Karrion Kross. He might make quick work of schmucks like Gray & Ruff, but he made a dangerous enemy a few weeks back who was back.
Tommaso Ciampa Is Back With A Challenge For NXT Takeover
During his first visible appearance for NXT, Kross would attack Ciampa from behind in brutal fashion. This was nearly a month ago, and Ciampa is back. His music would hit to ruin the celebration of Kross & Scarlett, who showed a tiny bit of fear.
Ciampa would take the microphone, properly introduce himself and tell Kross that ring is his home. He knows exactly why Kross signalled him out, and he can respect that he knew that removing Ciampa was smart. Complimenting the aura and size of Kross, Ciampa knew he was special. He stands out. A killer entrance, that’s special.
Scarlett would open the ropes for Ciampa, inviting him into the ring. Ciampa would remind Kross that someone else in NXT is special, and he’s looking at him. The challenge was now set for June 7th at NXT Takeover: In Your House.
