We’ve reached the midway point of the week, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers is looking forward to this one, and we have the throwback spoilers to prove it.
What makes this one extra special for us isn’t the Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) theme week, but the fact that we’ve actually gotten to see a good portion of this storyline, or the highlights at least, leading up to the wedding. Throughout these theme weeks, we’ve been tossed into the middle, beginning, or end of storylines without knowing what’s going on. Each time we’ve been hooked to find out more, but the next day is usually from another year.
Originally aired on December 29, 1994, this little gem has some good dramatic effects and Christine and Paul’s wedding appears to have a slight problem that may derail their plans. To add to it, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) are in the process of being hooked up by Olivia Winters (Tonya Winters), who wants to dabble in matchmaking.
What could possibly go wrong for everyone?

Not so happy memories
What’s got CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers curious is the hint that Paul and Christine’s wedding doesn’t go through like they planned or hoped. This is going to sound bad, but this is a cool thing from a storyline’s perspective. Most of the time, weddings in Genoa City go off without a hitch, as the sacred moment and day is saved and preserved until the next episode or two. Throwing a monkey wrench into things every now and then helps keep us off balance. Sure, we may hate the writers for what they did, but it helps add that fun little spice of surprise.
Given the year this took place in, it’s hard to say what happened. It could’ve been Paul’s mom, or he or Christine got stuck in traffic on the way, someone got sick, they were attacked by a former girlfriend/boyfriend. The list goes on and on, and unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to see it.

Olivia the matchmaker
Matchmaking is one of those art forms where we love and hate the person doing the matchmaking. It doesn’t matter who it is, whether they’re a friend or family member, they all do so at their own risk. They want to help us find happiness, and we often approach them as well, so we deserve some of the blame.
Into this fun little area Olivia will step as she’ll try to set up Malcolm and Stephanie. This is another area where CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers aren’t sure what happens, but we’re looking forward to seeing if Olivia’s services are requested or if she’s taken it upon herself. One thing that’s on their side is these things tend to work out on daytime television, at least for a while. This should be a fun one to watch.
