When WWE did their major purge of the roster around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, only one woman on the roster was released. This was Sarah Logan, formerly of The Riott Squad. A talented and young wrestler, you would think WWE would have wanted to keep her around as she had potential to be a huge star.
Even placing her with her husband as part of the Viking Raiders would have worked nicely, but despite rumors, she wouldn’t return to WWE. She has now seemingly made the choice to not even return to the ring.
Sarah Logan Is Exploring Other Parts Of Herself
In a statement made to Instagram, accompinied by a picture of her hunting, Logan would say the following.
“A lot has changed in my life recently, and I have stepped away from wrestling for the foreseeable future. Wrestling is all I’ve know since I was 17, so it’s time I let myself focus on other things and explored other parts of myself.”
Logan is only 26 years old, and this isn’t a retirement. It isn’t a great time to be on a job hunt in the wrestling industry, and while companies like Impact Wrestling or Ring Of Honor would love to have someone of her talent, it’s becoming harder and harder to run shows as COVID-19 continuies to take it’s toll on the United States and even major companies like WWE.
She’s Been Doing A Lot Of Hunting
Alongside her husband, Erik of The Viking Raiders, she’s posted many pictures of their hunting kills. They’re the types who like to hunt for food, or perhaps the WWE contract just forced them into a hunter/gatherer mentality to survive. She has also posted videos in the past of her lifestyle to Youtube, which could be a niche of the site which will get her success on the platform. Caring for chickens and living a lifestyle many crave is what the channel is all about, and it can be found here.
If things stay this way, her final match would have been against Shayna Baszler in an empty arena, with her getting her arm broken. Do you see Sarah Logan returning to the ring, or is this the end of her career as we know it? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
