With New Japan Pro Wrestling back in action, it was only a matter of time before Stardom would follow. It hasn’t been as long with Stardom, as they ran some empty arena shows. However, they are coming back properly very soon, and fans are starting to get excited.

Stardom Is Again Coming June 21st

“Stardom returns Sunday, June 21 at Shinkiba 1st RING in an event titled “STARDOM is again.
This past weekend, Stardom athletes and staff underwent antibody testing and were all cleared by the physician. Coranavirus prevention measures will be implemented at the venue.
Due to the current coronavirus situation, limited seating is available. Tickets are first come first serve, and go on sale Wednesday at 10:00am for Fan Club members only.
The card will be announced on the day of the event. The event will be available on Stardom World in it’s entirety within the week following the event.
Due to limited space at the venue, flower tributes will not be set up for Hana Kimura. Please wait for the memorial service.”

The Atmosphere Will Be Different

Despite being one of the first events that will have somewhat of a crowd, the mood will likely not be as joyful as we could hope. The death of Hana Kimura and retirement of Arisa Hoshiki are both incredibly fresh, and that is something the company will have to work past as they look to build up new stars at this time. Names like Jungle Kyona, Mayu Iwatani, Riho and more will be sure to put a great show on.  We shouldn’t expect to see the Goddess Of Stardom Champions, Bea Priesty & Jaime Hayter however, as they are likely not in Japan at this time, and travel is still not an option.
Fans will be happy to see their favorites, but it will be an incredibly emotional event for sure. We can expect to see tributes to Hana throughout, which alone will have an emotional toll on everyone involved. However, the show must go on.
