There has been a brewing tag team feud between Ever-Rise and The Brit-Am Brawlers. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch have two victories over Ever-Rise, and now Chase Parker is looking to try Lorcan in singles action. Will Parker get his first singles win within WWE, or will he get his ass kicked?
Chase Parker Pisses Off Oney Lorcan
They would lock horns to start the match, with Parker grabbing the arm and applying a Hammerlock to Lorcan, before slapping him a few time in the back of the head. Parker clearly forgot the one rule of facing Lorcan; don’t intentionally piss him off. Lorcan would slip out and grab a headlock, and slap Parker hard in the head. Parker would try to push Lorcan off using the ropes, but a vice like grip ensured he was going nowhere.
A third attempt would finally be successful, but Lorcan would come hard off the ropes with a shoulder block, sending Parker to the corner. Parker would come back with a knee, before being sent headfirst into the turnbuckle. Lorcan would almost meet the turnbuckle as well, but stopped it and lit Parkers chest up with the first hard chop of the match. Parker would try to do the same thing, but Lorcan would dodge and chop him again, sending his opponent to the apron.
The Arm Is The Target
Matt Martel would distract Lorcan, giving Parker time to take advantage, pulling Lorcan hard onto the ropes and coming over the top rope with an elbow drop to the neck. Lorcan would have his arm attacked using the ropes, before being sent off them and hit with a dropkick. Parker would apply an armlock, particularly targetting the hands and fingers, before dropping a knee on the arm as well.
Lorcan would get back to this feet and shove Parker into the corner to break the hold. Parker would walk into a Manhattan Drop, which was followed by an Atomic Drop. Lorcan would get moving and dash into the corner for an elbow strike, but be kicked away instead. Seeing an opening to fly, Parker climbed to the second rope but was caught in midair with another Manhattan Drop. Lorcan would hit a huge running uppercut, followed by the running Blockbuster for the win.
This was a short, if unimpressive match. Parker & Martel are great as a tag team, but they don’t work as singles wrestlers and should stick to their strengths.
Indus Sher Attack
Following the match, Malcolm Bivens showed up. This distraction allowed Ever Rise to attack from behind and beat down both Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan. But that didn’t seem to be the intended plan, as Indus Sher would make their way down to the ring and continue the brawl from this weeks episode of NXT. Lorcan & Burch stopped them from interferring in the tag team title match, and now they got their asses kicked for it.
