WWE Monday Night Raw Recap (6/29) -MVP (with Bobby Lashley) beat UNited States Champion Apollo Crews

MVP explains that is success doesn’t mean anything if he can’t give back, and Apollo Crews refused his help. It’s a slap in the face when one of the greatest United States Champions of all time is dismissed. He’s interrupted by Apollo Crews coming out.

Crews told him don’t give a speech about giving back, because if MVP really cared he would’ve listened the first time instead of continuing to push. He calls MVP out in only caring about himself.

Once the bell rang, Crews took control until he took out Lashley with a flip over the top rope, and MVP capitalized as we head into commercial

Back from commercial, MVP has kept control over Crews in the ring. Crews kicked out of a pinning attempt. MVP tried to wear him down with some arm submission holds to rob Crews of his strength.

Crews avoided a big boot in the corner, and turned the momentum around and had a near pin following a spinebuster.

Lashley distracted Crews while he was on the top rope, and MVP took advantage and pinned Crews following a Fisherman’s Suplex.

After the match, Crews attacked MVP, causing Lashley to get involved and slap the full nelson on Crews. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander came out with officials to get Lashley to break his hold.

Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet

We come back from commercial to an impromptu match between Ricochet and Bobby Lashley

Ricochet takes the fight to Lashley, But Lashley turns the tables and abuses Ricochet by throwing him across the ring with ease.

Lashley tosses Ricochet out of the ring, and while the referee’s distracted, MVP slams him into the announce table.

Lashley continues tossing Ricochet around like he’s nothing, then into the ring post before he rolls into the ring to break the ten count.

Lashley is about to spear him, but Ricochet falls down, so Lashley attempts the full nelson. Ricochet manages to avoid it, but is caught by Lashley outside the ring. Ricochet dodges being run into the ring post, and Ricochet nearly has a pin.

MVP tried to interfere, but Cedric Alexander takes care of him. Ricochet tries to hit two superkicks in a row, but Lashley catches his second one and spikes Ricochet.

Once Lashley slaps on the full nelson, it’s over. Lashley then slaps it on Alexander before he tosses him aside.
