There is a lot of wrestlers who would fit amazingly into the NJPW formate of wrestling. Taking away a lot of the storytelling through promos and replacing it with an amazing story told through wrestling. Even though there is are many wrestlers we could pick, we’ve narrowed it down to just five.
1.Shinsuke Nakamura
The first one is an ex NJPW and feels like he could actually turn up in NJPW at any point. This is where Shinsuke Nakamura had some of his greatest matches against AJ Styles and Ibushi. Even though he did have some amazing matches in NXT. It can’t be argued how amazing he was in NJPW. Shinsuke Nakamura has never really hit his mark in WWE and maybe if join NJPW, we could see how amazing he truly is.
2.Cesaro
Arguably one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE. We don’t actually know much about why Cesaro is never really used. His move set is amazing with his ability to keep matches fresh and exciting all the way through. When we do see him in a match, it’s always a treat to watch. This is why he would make an amazing fit for NJPW. He could tell some amazing stories through matches in NJPW. Where he can be used to his full potential rather than put into random factions and tag teams.
3.PAC
The next three including this one might seem a bit random, but let’s tell you why we picked them and you can be the judge. PAC being in AEW, his contract allows him to go NJPW at any point just like Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho have done. His move set is very heavy-hitting like the wrestling in NJPW but that’s not all, his submission move set also fits into the current NJPW roster of British wrestlers. It seems like a perfect fit for the NJPW roster looking at his move set and charisma. He has wrestled there before in 2012, so it wouldn’t be a massive change for PAC if he did again in the future.
4.Trent
Even though Trent is part of the Best Friends tag team and usually wrestlers with Chuck Taylor. He has had a couple of singles matches in AEW really showing his style as a single competitor. With some of his moves, kind of, resembling arguably one of the best of NJPW; Kenny Omega. I think that if he ever did make the change to NJPW, he would make a pretty decent fit.
5.Karrion (Killer) Kross
This wouldn’t happen for a year due to him signing a contract with NXT pretty recently. Although it can’t be argued that his monstrous charisma is missing from NJPW at the moment and it does thrive in the company. With the likes of The Murderhawk being great in NJPW now in AEW. Killer Kross with an explosive move set and fear through his presence alone. Would make a fantastic fit for NJPW that we hope to see in the future.
