Tonight, AEW is bringing what could be their biggest episode of Dynamite yet. With no PPV in sight until All Out in September, big episodes like this will come to help to bridge the gap. Lets get right into seeing what this huge card will bring!
Cody vs. WARHORSE For The TNT Championshop
After weeks, maybe months of trying to get this match, it’s finally here. Independent Wrestling Champion, WARHOSE will now face Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship. This is by far the biggest match in his career, and much like Ricky Starks & Eddie Kingston before him, looks to make a major impression on a worldwide audience.
He might just look like someone in the moshpit at a thrash metal concert, but WARHORSE is one of the toughest men in wrestling today, and can beat anyone on a good day. No one has figured out Cody Rhodes yet as TNT Champion, but he’s never faced someone quite like WARHORSE.
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. The Dark Order
The TNT Championship is not the only title that is on the line tonight, as we will also see another defense of the AEW Tag Team Championships. This is a match that has been long overdue, as Stu Greyson & EVIL Uno of The Dark Order finally get their chance to become champions. Prior to being stuck in Canada due to travel bans, they were the top contenders for the titles, with many feeling they will be the team to take the titles from Page & Omega.
While their reign has been strong, cracks are forming in the relationship of the champions. Page is finding new friends in FTR, while Omega has been rekindling the roots of The Elite with the Young Bucks. Many fans feel All Out will be home to a huge singles match between them, and tonight is when that build begins.
Darby Allin & Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage & Ricky Starks
Brian Cage & Jon Moxley might have had their big AEW Championship match, but they’re not finished yet. Ricky Starks aligned with Taz & Cage on AEW Dark, while Moxley & Allin have always had an underlying connection after beating the tar out of each other. They will all meet in a Tornado Tag Team match, meaning this one will be four of the best in AEW in a whirlwind of chaos. If Cage can get a pinfall on Moxley here, it will mean a AEW Championship rematch in the near future, giving this high stakes.
The Inner Circle Back At Full Power
We will see a huge ten man tag team match tonight, and it will see The Inner Circle back at full power. Sammy Guevara came back last week on Dynamite, helping to beat down Jurassic Exrpess after Jericho & Hager beat Jungle Boy & Luchasarus last week. Best Friends & OC would make the save, and now they’ll all meet tonight on Dynamite.
This is just a farrago of talent, and much like Allin & Moxley vs. Cage & Starks, will be absolute chaos. The Inner Circle is looking to make their way back to the top of the company, and this is where it begins.
Also announced is Hikaru Shida’s open challenge, more information on the Deadly Draw tournament, and MJF has something to say. What are you most looking forward tonight on Dynamite? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
