As we previously reported, Sarah Logan was the only woman released when the WWE purged their roster a couple of months back, and she followed that up with news that she was stepping away from wrestling to do other things for a while.
This led to plenty of speculation as to what she intended to do since she’s only 26, but the question has now been answered.
A little Viking Raider is on the way
That’s right. According to her husband of Viking Raider fame, Erik, they’re pregnant.
This morning on his Instagram account, he posted a picture of the test and the caption: “Sarah is pregnant!!!!! I’m gonna be a father!!!!”
This is awesome news for them and we wish them the best.
It also explains why she chose not to return despite various rumors saying she had resigned. Her not resigning and citing she wanted to do to step away for a while makes perfect given they found out about the pregnancy five weeks ago, according to their video.
She now joins Becky Lynch as a soon to be new mother and starts a new chapter in her life.
More to come
Sarah Logan is only twenty-six, so there’s plenty of time for her to try her hand at something else for a while until she’s ready to come back to wrestling.
This is assuming she’ll want to return to wrestling as she’s been doing it since she was seventeen. There are plenty of possibilities out there for her is she does from returning to the WWE or going to AEW, Impact, Ring of Honor, and other Indie promotions.
She’ll have a fanbase that’ll follow here wherever she goes, but she and Erik also have their lifestyle youtube page and social media accounts where they discuss and show their hunting, gardening, and other talents they use in a self-sustaining lifestyle.
It’s a niche that’s been growing over the years as more people have turned away from the processed foods and various chemicals around us. It’s a way to go back to a more relaxed style of living that many prefer instead of the constant rushing around to go nowhere mentality of the modern world.
Whatever she decides, we’re sure it’s going to be an amazing adventure for her and Erik as they grow their family. Who knows, we may be seeing the start of a new Viking community that’ll take over professional wrestling in the next couple of decades.
