It’s now two PPVs that have been changed into Wednesday events and with that comes an ok card. That doesn’t really feel that special even though every championship is being defended. The feud between each Superstar kind of feel rushed and slightly off. With some of them obviously randomly put together. Now after Fyter Fest though, the PPV Fight for the Fallen has now been changed into a Wednesday night event. Even though this is great in one way and is meant to feel like a PPV for some reason it doesn’t. It could be the lack of crowd or the actual runtime of the event.
Is Jon Moxley Vs. Brian Cage worth it?
If the match took place on the second night of Fyter Fest. It looks very unlikely that they would even bother having the event of Fight for the Fallen. This is due to a lack of build for all of the other matches with all of them being announced near the end of Night Two of Fyter Fest. This kind of proves that there was near to no plan for this after Night Two. Even though Jon Moxley Vs. Brain Cage could be a great match, making an event for it seems pointless and feels like it could have worked the same if they just put it into a normal night of Dynamite.
Could this final night event put them back on top?
Even though Triple H has said that he didn’t change the event due to AEW’s events. It does seem very obvious that they did, with them doing it so close to the Fyter Fest. Now with the third surprise event. It might seem like they have done this for the championship match. could also be that they wanted to add one extra night to the events to get one up on NXT as they tried with them.
