It has been a hot minute since Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde have been in action. Months ago, they’d be kidnapped by masked men in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center, before being put into the ranks of Legado Del Fantasma. Under the guidance of NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, they’d be challenged to a six man tag next week on NXT against Drake Maverick & Breezango, but first they’d grace 205 Live with their presence facing Skulk members Leon Ruff & Liam Grey.
Legado Del Fantasma Sends Ruff & Grey Packing
Liam Grey & Leon Ruff would come down to the ring full of energy and hope, but that would be sucked out of the arena when Legado Del Fantasma would make their way to the ring. Lead to the ring by Santos Escobar, they’d be here to redefine what Lucha Libre means in WWE. Concern came over of the face of Ruff & Grey, but they got ready for the match, with Ruff taking the lead. Wilde would just run Ruff down with a lariat, before grabbing the arm and ragdolling Ruff with ease. A manhattan drop followed by a quick splash would be the prelude to a picture perfect springboard moonsault.
Mendoza would be tagged in, and Ruff would be hit with some tandem offense, now completely defenseless. He’d need the tag to Grey more than anything as he’d be dropped with chops. Being suplexed into his corner, Mendoza would allow the tag, and continue where he left off with Grey instead. Chops, hard knees, and suplexes. Grey would get a brief glimmer of hope before being taken out with a huge lariat. A spinning neckbreaker in the middle of the ring, and Escobar would call for the finish. Wilde would hold Grey in the position for a Russian Leg Sweep, and Mendoza sped in with a huge kick. The momenteum sent Wilde on top for the immediate pin, and this one was done.
This shows that we’re in for a reign of terror from Legado Del Fantasma. They already have the top prize in the division, and have a killer tag team as well. Will anyone be able to stop them?Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
