Last week on 205 Live, Mansoor made his return to action at the expense of Tehuti Miles. However, Miles wasn’t going to just take this loss laying down, being intent on revenge. He’d get a rematch with Mansoor this week, but would the results be the same?
Tehuti Miles Is More Serious This Week Against Mansoor
Last week, Mansoor claimed he had ring rust and still got the win. This week, with that not a factor, Miles knows he had to take this one deadly serious. As the bell rang, he would throw his entrance jacket in the face of Mansoor and come in with a kick to the gut. Fists would fly, and Mansoor would be fighting from underneath. A strong irish whip into the corner would ground Mansoor, and Miles would talk some trash, leaving him open. Mansoor would take the single leg takedown and dish out some shots of his own. This was much more of a brawl this week, with the animosity being very clear.
Mansoor would take control with a back body drop and suplex, before applying a chin lock in the middle of the ring. After breaking the hold, Mansoor would be sent to the apron, and Miles would hit a big dropkick, sending his opponent to the mat. A brawl on the outside would suit Miles more, with Mansoor barely breaking the ten count after being slammed into the plexiglass.
We’ve Been Here Before
Back in the ring, Miles would stay in control over Mansoor. He’d look for his signature neckbreakers in the ring, but was unable to get the pinfall. A body scissors would isolate Mansoor in the middle of the ring, but he’d push his weight back into a pinfall to break the hold. He wouldn’t gain control however, as Mansoor would be dropped face first with a Flapjack. Mansoor would go to the apron once again, but had the dropkick scouted. Having dodged that, Miles was wide open for the corkscrew neckbreaker over the top rope.
Some quick jabs of the jaw would be followed with some lariats and a dropkick. Mansoor was rolling, and ready to put Miles away. An inverted atomic drop followed by a spinebuster would be the prelude to the finish. He’d hoist Miles up onto his shoulders, and what goes up? Must come down. Miles landed hard on his neck and shoulders, and Mansoor won another one.
This makes two in a row for Mansoor over Tehuti Miles. If his winning ways continue, he could very well find himself on the radar of Legado Del Fantasma. Will Mansoor get a shot against Santos Escobar in the future? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
