Through the last couple of years of Braun Strowman’s career, it has been a kind of mixed bag of weirdness. Through his time in the Wyatt family which was actually pretty good to his weird tag team run with Nicholas. This was, in my opinion, one of the worst things to happen to Braun and also the tag team belts and it has never healed from that. Even though that is an article for another day and we don’t want to open that can of worms today. Let’s have a look into Braun Strowman’s career from his lows to his now kind of greatness.
From Black Sheep to GET THESE HANDS
The Black Sheep of the Wyatt Family was a great addition. Although it would have been great if Braun turned on Bray Wyatt originally. It was a good start to his career in WWE. Then there was the GET THESE HANDS gimmick which was ok, although was kind of weird in promos as it made most of them feel very forced. With all of them having a forced “GET THESE HANDS” line. Even though it did fit into Braun Strowman’s comedic personality, it felt too forced to be enjoyable. He ran with that gimmick for a very long time and it’s kind of hard to think when he actually stopped it. Even though, it was in the main event picture for a while without really doing anything memorable like winning the top belt. Then beating Goldberg ended that mess.
Now he actually has some good feuds and stories, mostly.
Now though, apart from the weird thing with John Marrion and The Miz. That should have just been John Marrison Vs. Braun Strowman because that could have been a great match. Now through his feud with Bray Wyatt, it seems to bring the best of Braun Strowman. This does prove that Braun Strowman can do great promo work and have a decent feud. Even though he will most likely lose the championship to The Fiend at some point. There’s a lot of opportunities for Braun to have some great feuds through the roster of Smackdown. If they give him a bit more freedom as it seems like they’re doing in this one.
