WWE NXT Results: Imperium vs. Ever-Rise

We have not seen the NXT Tag Team Champions in several weeks, with their last match being their defense against Breezango. They missed the Great American Bash, but with NXT Takeover XXX on the horizon? It’s time to prove once again that the mat is sacred, and Imperium is truly the best team in the game today.

Ever-Rise Fails To Rise Once Again

Their opponents would be everyone’s favorite French Canadians, Ever-Rise! After losing match after match on 205 Live, could they reverse their fortunes with an upset win over the champions? They do have the experience advantage after all.

Marcel Bartel would start with Matt Martel, with Bartel getting the early advantage. Fabian Aichner would be tagged in and they’d get to work isolating their opponent. Chase Parker would tag himself in, and make an impact in this match, their experience becoming clear.

However, Aichner just caught Parker midair and threw him into his partner, taking Martel out of the match. Parker would be propped up in the corner and hit with simultaneous strikes. A huge spinebuster, a PK to the face, and the European Bomb? That would end this night for Ever-Rise.

Who Can Beat Imperium? Why Not Undisputed Era!

Even without WALTER & Alexander Wolfe, Imperium is as strong as ever. They would take the microphones following the match, but be cut off by Undisputed Era at full power, with Kyle O’Reilly back! He got sick of acting, and his career in therapy didn’t take off.

Who better to take the fight to Imperium than the men who once ruled NXT. With O’Reilly back, it’s time to retake the tag team gold for a fourth time. They’d leave Aichner & Bartel down and out, with a four on two advantage proving to be effective as always. The losing streak has been a lot for the Undisputed Era, time to go back to what works.

This match is set to go down next week on NXT, and will be the second defense of Imperium as champions.

Will Undisputed Era win the NXT Tag Team Championships once again? Or will this be the loss that finally breaks them? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
