One look at Shotzi Blackheart, and you know she’s the type to raise hell, and that’s what she’s been doing on NXT as of late. However, in doing so, she’s made powerful enemies in the Robert Stone Brand. After running over both of Robert Stone’s legs with a tank, she’d be met by Mercedes Martinez, who would align herself with Stone, prompting William Regal to set up this match.

Would Blackheart continue to be a thorn in the side of Robert Stone, or does he finally have someone he can depend on in the ring?

Mercedes Martinez Isn’t Someone To Sleep On

Shotzi Blackheart would show no fear as she faced off with the veteran Martinez. With Stone & Aliyah flanking her, it could turn into a handicap match at times for Blackheart, but she’s used to less than favorable odds.

Blackheart ran in right away with some hard forearms, but she’d rush into Martinez and be thrown to the outside. Stone would berate her on the outside, before she’d be wheelbarrowed into the apron face first. Rolling her back in the ring, Martinez would mount her with some ground and pound in the middle of the ring.

Martinez tried the Fisherman’s Buster, but would be caught with an inside cradle. This would give Blackheart the advantage, hitting a sunset bomb and a reverse sling blade. Some big strikes would stagger Martinez, before she’d be dropped with a switchblade kick.

Shotzi Blackheart Gets Dropped On Her Head… Twice!

Martinez went to the ropes, and got a running senton to the back, but this only got a one count. She’d get back in the match with a big Spinebuster, getting a two count. The ring veteran would regain complete control, counter an attempt at the Sliced Bread by slamming Blackheart into the corner and propping her up.

Blackheart would be hit with a release German Suplex off the top rope, and then be dropped on her head again. This was a decisive win for Martinez, who snuffed out Blackheart in record time. It’s clear that she’s already in a situation of ‘when will she be NXT Women’s Champion’, not if.
