What was arguably one of the most confusing episodes of RAW ever including segments with Poison, underground fighting arena and a faction who don’t like lights. It was a very weird episode of RAW and brought back Shane McMahon.
We haven’t seen him since his career-threatening match with Kevin Owens. The match was pretty decent for a career ending match for Shane. Now with his return to this new Raw Underground gimmick has been made very pointless.
If he doesn’t wrestle, it should be ok?
It doesn’t look like Shane will be wrestling anytime soon with him putting his focus on a fight club putting over other talent in this. At the moment that is what it seems like. If that is the case and they don’t bring him into an actual match.
That should be good as Shame McMahon isn’t really a bad character in the industry. But him as a wrestler though, doesn’t feel right as there is so much unused talent in WWE. It would also make a past story of a career-threatening match, pointless.
Ric Flair has come back before.
The career-threatening match has always been a big match. This is obvious due to the fact that whoever loses will retire / leave and with that they should definitely stay retired / gone. Ric Flair has come back multiple times as a manager for Randy Orton and Charlotte Flair.
If Shane McMahon takes on a similar managerial role later on. Whenever this weird Raw Underground thing is over. It could actually be a pretty decent way for Shane to be a good draw for views and still promote new talent.
Maybe he could be a manager like a heel version of Ricochet. There’s a lot of underused wrestlers that could benefit from being managed by a big talker like Shane McMahon.
