CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some fun spoilery goodies to get the week started, and it looks like we’re going to have a fun start to things.
It appears we’re heading into a repetitive dialogue phase, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are grateful that it’s being spread out and separated by other episodes.
With that in mind, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is going to jump on his dead caution horse and continue to beat it as he’ll warn Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to take care of herself.
It makes sense given she recently had cancer surgery, but it’s also driven by his insecurities, despite his claims otherwise.
On the slip side, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants to clear the air with his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle), before their relationship will be irreparably damaged.
Looks like fun times, doesn’t it? Some things never change in Genoa City.
Extending an olive branch
Victor is in an unenviable position as he tried to navigate the waters between his children and himself, but chances are things are only going to get worse for all parties.
Victor has made it clear to his children how important family is to him and why he does what he does.
In typical kid behavior, his children think they know everything and it doesn’t mesh with Victor’s outlook.
To them, he should let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) flounder and die or find a way to survive. They don’t understand that he’d do the same for them that he does for Adam.
Adam just needs more help than they do.
In this case, we’re certain that Victoria won’t be willing to listen as she’s fully intent on hurting Victor and Adam for what they did to her, and we don’t see how anyone will talk her down.
Sharon’s had a busy few days, but that won’t keep Rey from reminding her about her health and that she shouldn’t tax herself so much to help Adam.
Of course, no one likes Adam so that makes it easier. If she were helping Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) we doubt there’d be so much resistance.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have said this before, and we’ll say it again: Rey’s insecurities are playing a big part in this.
A lot of the reason for that is Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), whose own insecurities are driving her to be overprotective.
The problem with both of these pairs is Chelsea and Rey are trying to hard to help that they may cause what they fear will happen the most.
Do you think Victor and Rey will make their point or be dismissed? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
