FTR are officially part of the All Elite Wrestling roster, and are quickly rising through the ranks of their stacked tag team division. Their crusade to fix tag team wrestling is going well, with them getting tag ropes and 10 counts between tags in their matches. However, could they show up in another growing tag team division soon?

Scott D’Amore Wants FTR vs. The North

Scott D’Amore is one of the leaders of Impact Wrestling, and he is always keeping his eyes out for those interested in working there. So when Ethan Page of The North & Dax Harwood of FTR started looking to get a match between the two standout teams, he knew that he needed to do what he could.

“I can assure you that Impact Wrestling supports making it happen.
How about a home & home series between FTR and The North?”

He’d go on to call for the support of an old friend in Chris Jericho, and Dax would keep picking shots at Ethan Page below. Seeing as Impact & AEW aren’t exactly rivals, this could be a good partnership to build up. Fans of tag team wrestling would love to see FTR clash with The North, and if we got to see that across both Impact & Dynamite, it would only help both shows in the end.

Cash Wheeler would chime in and tell D’Amore that a couple of Good Brothers should have their phone numbers, if they want to talk more about it.

A Potential AEW / Impact Wrestling Supershow

Once pandemic conditions lift, wrestling fans are going to want some huge shows. If AEW & Impact Wrestling worked together, they could combine their rosters into a massive supershow which would be a real treat for fans.

Matches like FTR vs. The North, Young Bucks vs. Motor City Machine Guns, Johnny Swinger vs. Orange Cassidy, and Jon Moxley vs. Sami Callihan alone would sell most fans on this PPV, and that would only be the tip of the iceberg in what could be done with these two talented rosters.

In wrestling, partnerships are vital when you’re looking to build. While AEW has already eclipsed Impact Wrestling in their first year of business, it can never hurt to have partners. They already both work alongside AAA. Do you want to see AEW & Impact Wrestling work together?
