The brash newcomer to 205 Live, Tehuti Miles has not been getting the best win-loss record as of late. Dropping multiple matches in a row, he was hoping to get a much needed win this week on 205 Live, but when his opponent would be revealed to be the returning The Brian Kendrick? He wanted a veteran to bring the best out in him, which is something Kendrick is more than ready to do.
Tehuti Miles Feels Like He’s Rookie Of The Year
Kendrick would play mind games early, kicking the fanny pack of Miles to the floor before saying that Miles is focusing on the wrong things. He’d then grab an armbar, and force Miles to counter out. Kendrick would easily counter back, and trip Miles up.
A hip toss from Kendrick would be countered, with Miles hitting two nice arm drags, and remaining in control when the veteran tried to overtake him. Kendrick would get tripped up and mocked, before launching some hard strikes to Miles, and getting them right back. A boot to the face would knock Miles down, and get a two count.
The Brian Kendrick Returns With A Bang
Kendrick would apply a submission in the middle of the ring, before beating Miles down in the corner. Miles would rally back, and hit his second gear in this match, taking the fight to the veteran with hard strikes and some even harder irish whips. A beautiful dropkick would get a two count, with Kendrick just getting the shoulder up.
Miles would yell at Kendrick asking if he will lecture him more, and be caught in a roll up for the win. You don’t waste time against a veteran like Kendrick, who has forgotten more about wrestling than Miles has learned. This is another loss for Tehuti Miles, but maybe Kendrick can take him under his wing.
The last time Kendrick took a protege, it was Jack Gallagher who we can’t expect to hear much about anymore. After the match, Kendrick would praise the potential of Miles, and tell him to watch this match back and find his mistakes.
