Looks like a fun night with Impact Wrestling, and we’re previewing some of the top expected moments, and we don’t want to miss any of it.
New Impact World Champion Eric Young is expected to kick off the show, which we’re sure will lead to a fun exchange with his next victim.
There’s no way his feud with Eddie Edwards is over, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Edwards puts in an appearance here or will someone else step forward to challenge the World Class Maniac?
Chris Bey vs. TJP
After losing his X Division Championship on Emergence Night 1 after only having it for 27 days, Chris Bey has been biding his time to enact his rematch clause with Rohit Raju.
But he’s got a challenger for the number one contender spot after TJP approached Rohit about a match for the X Division Championship, and Rohit directed him to Bey.
It makes sense since Bey has the number one contender spot since he’s the previous champion, but this will undoubtedly give Bey extra incentive tonight.
Add to it that he fell for Rohit’s claim to have his back going into Emergence, and Bey will have every bit of fire he needs.
This should be a good match that we can easily see TJP winning it after their match in Emergence Night 1, plus Impact’s former champions are currently 0-3 in rematch clauses in recent history.
That’s a tough trend to break. It doesn’t help that TJP is a phenomenal performer.
Who do you think will win and challenge Rohit for the X Division Championship?
Moose Finds EC3
EC3 has tormented Moose non-stop since returning, and last week he left a clear hint for the big man with thanks to a helper.
Moose said he knows where to find the belt now, and this should be a epic confrontation, assuming EC3 is actually there.
This is a fun storyline between someone wanting to bring back the past and another wanting to destroy it. A really cool thing about this is it’s the same struggle among fans.
There are those that don’t known Impact is still around and have allegiance to the TNA days and championship, while others are Impact fans all the way and enjoy the current run.
There are also those that enjoy both and are just sitting back and enjoying their popcorn, but we don’t seen any reason to draw attention.
While we think this is destined for a final conflict at Bound for Glory on October 24, any action between these two are can’t miss viewing.
Locker Room Talk Featuring Kylie Rae and Susie
Now that Wrestle House is over until next time (we hope there’ll be a next time), and everyone’s back at the Impact Zone to bolster the roster, things will start to get back to normal.
Of course, this means Johnny Swinger will be back as Madison Rayne’s sidekick, though she’s expressed she’s not sure she wants him back.
Could this be a breakup episode for them?
But their guests are going to make it really entertaining, as Rayne’s welcoming the Knockouts Championship number one contender, Kyle Rae, and her friend Susie.
While talk will probably be about Wrestle House thanks to Swinger, Rae will try to keep it focused on her title opportunity and her friendship with Susie.
This will give Deonna Purrazzo or Tenille Dashwood to interrupt things.
We’re leaning towards it being Dashwood as she’ll challenge Rae for the number one contender spot.
