Impact Wrestling has a fun quandary in the tag team division, and it’s mainly who will get to challenge for the Impact Tag Team Championship?
This came as a mild surprise, not because the Rascalz aren’t worth of the offer, but that it was the first time we’d seen them in a complete match in a while
The Rascals have been absent from the ring lately as their last complete match was against the North a couple of months back.
That was a title match for the Impact Tag Team Championship, so they went to the bottom of the order. But worse still has been their absence from the ring.
At least, in a complete match.
They’re one of the most entertaining tag teams around as they’re super quick and athletic, making pairing up with them a nightmare for anyone that’s not prepared.

Needing a win
Had they lost to Ace Austin and Madman Fulton (they really need a win at this point, too), they’d be at risk of having an even higher mountain to climb.
But they prevailed, relying on their teamwork and athleticism to force the larger and more powerful Fulton out of the ring and into the seat so they could focus on the smaller Austin.
It was a good game plan and match, and the MCMG came out to offer then a championship shot because of their performance.
Of course, in typical Rascalz fashion, they had to mess around with the MCMG for a second before accepting the challenge.
Their match should be a good one, but the Rascalz will fall short. The Motor City Machine Guns are just getting started in their title reign and it feels wrong to take the belts off them so soon.
Especially after their grand entrance as the best tag team of all time.
How long they’ll hold the belts is anyone’s guess, as to prove themselves to be the best ever one would expect them to break the North’s record.
But that could damage the tag team division with two reigns like that back to back, so who will be the team that’ll prove themselves good enough to win?
The tag team division is weak at the moment, so we could be wrong and the Rascalz are the team to dethrone the Motor City Machine Guns. They have as much of a chance as anyone.
We’ll have to tune into Impact Wrestling to find out.
