The third match of Revolution Pro Wrestling’s (RevPro) return to action event after an extended COVID-19 (Coronavirus, 2019) delay on the Epic Encounters card saw Dan Moloney take on the young blue-chipper Callum Newman.
The 17-year-old ‘Prince of Pace’ Callum Newman has been a protege of Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay for several years. Moloney wanted to use this match to get under the skin of Ospreay, who accompanied Newman to the ring.
Moloney who wants the opportunity to become Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion gave off the vibes of a smaller Toa Henare with his style, with some noticeable differences — but the same intensity was present.
Newman shows the skills of a wrestler who can develop into a special talent in three or four years if he continues working hard at the finer elements of professional wrestling.
Moloney would win the fall at the 7 minute and 50-second mark with his Drilla technique. He and Ospreay shared a staredown as Moloney exited the ring, setting up a possible future program between the two.
The fourth match saw Tokyo Cyber Squad member and World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom) regular Bobbi Tyler face Aleah James. Tyler was accompanied to the ring by fellow Tokyo Cyber Squad member Zoe Lucas, who has had issues with the young Aleah James in the past. James was accompanied to the ring by Undisputed British Women’s Champion Gisele Shaw.
Bobbi showed that she is a well-rounded wrestler who can do a great deal in the ring. Her ring attire created the great visual colorful aesthetic associated with Tokyo Cyber Squad.
While in her early days as a professional wrestler, James showed she has potential. The finish to the match was a bit off when James pinned Tyler with a Rolling Clutch Technique after Bobbi went to Zoe for advice.
