In the main event of All Out, Wardlow might have made the final mistake in the eyes of MJF. MJF had brought him into this company as his guard dog, his heater, someone to help him cheat. During the closing moments of the match, Wardlow would throw MJF his Dynamite Diamond Ring and miss completely, before distracting the referee.
This allowed Jon Moxley to hit the Paradigm Shift behind the referees back, and MJF took his first pinfall loss in AEW. Since then, he’s all but broken off his alliance with Wardlow, and this will likely come to a head as of this week’s episode of Dynamite. However, a tweet from Wardlow might show his next moves.
Wardlow Might Be Considering Joining Dark Order
In a recent tweet, Wardlow would post a black & white picture of himself with the caption ‘As the light fades, darkness calls my name.’ While this wouldn’t be out of place otherwise, AEW does have a powerful faction known as The Dark Order, you might have heard of them. Mr. Brodie Lee is always looking for new recruits, and he’s mad at his latest project, Colt Cabana.
Warlow breaking off from MJF and putting on the mask of The Dark Order would be an odd move for him, but he’s still a fairly new wrestler in the grand scheme of things, and this would allow him to get more experience before breaking off as a singles star. He’ll likely face MJF in a match soon, and with MJF being so angry, this is a match he’s not likely to win.
He Might Be Better Off With Dark Order
Dark Order is on the upswing. Mr. Brodie Lee is TNT Champion, Evil Uno & Stu Greyson have always been a great tag team, John Silver & Alex Reynolds finally won a match, Preston Vance is back, and Colt Cabana is on board. Add in someone like Wardlow to those ranks, and it will only help their rise.
MJF even went on Twitter to say ‘Maybe he’d be better off in the dark order’ in regards to Wardlow. They’d probably at least be nicer to Wardlow than MJF is, and they have the Chilis deal as well!
