WWE Raw Recap and Results arrived at VIP Lounge with MVP and Shelton Benjamin in attendance.
After his introductions, MVP said he’s not Tina Turner, but the Hurt Business runs Sparta Town. And that they don’t need Master Blaster because they have Bobby Lashley.
Lashley then came out, and after he was welcomed by MVP and Benjamin, MVP turned his attention to Apollo Crews.
He pointed out that he understands why Crews turned down his offer to join the Hurt Business, but there are three constants in life – Death, taxes, and Bobby Lashley
Lashley promised he will pay Crews back for attacking him after their match at Payback, and Benjamin promised to beat him like a punk on Raw Underground.
MVP started in on their upcoming six man tag match and named Cedric Alexander, and Alexander came out alone.
MVP approached him and asked if he had a change of heart about joining since he was alone.
Alexander said he didn’t have a change of heart, and he didn’t come alone.
The Viking Raider attacked Lashley and Benjamin from behind, and the three of them left the Hurt Business outside the ring to pick themselves up for their match.
Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin) vs. Cedric Alexander and the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar)
Lashley and Erik started it off, with Lashley striking first with a series of punches and kicks that backed Erik into a corner.
Erik ducked a punch, then hammered away on Lashley before they made their way to the center of the ring.
After another exchange, Erik was stuck in the Hurt Business’ corner, where they took turns beating on him before Benjamin hit with a clothesline and a near pinfall.
Erik ducked a clothesline by Benjamin and Ivar tagged in. Erik hit with a knee, and Ivar pounded on Benjamin in their corner, and Alexander followed suit.
Erik hit with another knee in the middle of the ring, then countered a charge by Erik with a spinebuster as they tagged out.
Alexander and MVP met in the middle, but MVP quickly gained the upper hand with some kicks and a knee drip for a near pinfall.
MVP Drove Alexander into their corner, and Lashley took over punishing Alexander before hitting with a suplex and a near pinfall.
Benjamin tagged in and flipped Alexander over in a slam type of move for a couple of near pinfalls.
Another body slam followed, and Benjamin threw Alexander into their corner and tagged MVP in.
MVP hit with a boot, then another suplex for a pinfall attempt.
MVP hammered away with some forearms from on top of Alexander’s back, then locked in an armbar.
Alexander tried to fight his way out of MVP’s hold and tag out, but Lashley and Benjamin pulled Erik and Ivar off of the apron and the four fought outside the ring.
Alexander ducked a boot from MVP and rolled MVP up for the won.
The Hurt Business readied to attack Alexander, but the Viking Raiders stood by Alexander’s side and MVP called them off.
Before heading to commercial, we got to see Titus O’Neal warming up for Raw Underground backstage.
It’s great to see him back; we’ve missed him.
We came back to find Alexander had been jumped backstage by MVP and the Hurt Business, but they backed off when Apollo Crews and Ricochet arrived.
Kinda curious how he was alone, but whatever works.
The Iiconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan) – The winner gets s shot and the tag team titles, the loser are no longer a tag team
Kay and Riott started off with a running clash in the middle of the ring, and the pair exchanged blows before Royce tagged in and attempted a pinfall after a double team.
Royce kept on Riott, slapping on a reverse chin lock.
Riott fought out of it with some blows to Royce’s midsection, then ducked under a kick to tag in Live Morgan.
Morgan Nailed Royce with a kick, then a drop kick in the back for a near pinfall.
Royce slipped out of a body slam and threw Morgan onto her back.
The Iiconics hit with a double team kick and Kay nearly scored a pinfall.
Kay then screeched at Morgan before choking her out in their corner and then hitting a gut wrench suplex for a near pinfall.
Kay kept pounded on her, but Morgan hit with a pair of kicks and she tagged in Riott.
Riott then threw Kay into Morgan’s knees in their corner.
Riott hit Kay with an elbow in the corner, and Morgan cut off Royce’s attack,
Riott and Kay exchanged pin attempts before Riott finally managed to reverse and pin Billie Kay.
Looks like no more Iiconics.
And the Iiconics threw a huge temper tantrum in the ring, like they needed their diapers changed.
WWE Raw Results and Recap switched to the familiar scene of Shane McMahon arriving at Raw Underground, and promoting some of the matches we’ll see.
