WWE Raw Results and Recap returned for the night’s main event – the number One Contender Triple Threat Match with Randy Orton vs. Keith Lee vs. Seth Rollins.
This should be a good one. And after some positioning, Rollins and Orton seemed to make a deal, but Orton slipped out of the ring.
Rollins asked why he was leaving him with Lee when they could face him together.
Orton said he already worked tonight.
Rollins slipped out of the ring and got into Orton’s face since Orton said they’d work together o take out Keith Lee.
Orton said he changed his mind, but as Rollins started to say he’s the Monday Night Messiah, Lee grabbed him by the air and pulled him up to the apron.
Rollins hit him with a kick to back him off, then entered the ring.
Rollins have him in a headlock, but Lee threw him into the ropes as Rollins said he didn’t need Orton, and took a shoulder block.
Orton then Slapped on a headlock on Lee, but Lee threw him into the corner and hit with a splash.
Lee then threw Rollins into the corner, but Rollins and Orton managed to lift Lee over the ropes. Lee landed on the apron and hit with a splash over the top rope on both of them as we headed to commercial.
Entitled to it
We came back to Rollins hitting Lee with a superkick as Lee came over the top rope, keeping him outside the ring.
Rollins then hit with a running knee, and Orton slammed Lee on the announcer’s table.
They then threw Lee into the ring stairs.
Orton and Rollins struggled to get Lee to his feet to throw him into the ring, and as Rollins climbed in Orton kicked him and hit with a draping DDT for a near pinfall.
Orton readied to hit with an RKO, but Rollins reversed it into a Falcon’s Arrow and a near pinfall.
Rollins took his time measuring Orton for a Stomp, but Lee appeared on the apron next to him and leveled Rollins with a single blow, then rand from one to the other with splashes.
Lee then threw Rollins into Orton and the duo rolled out of the ring.
On the floor, Lee sent Orton flying with a running shoulder block, then caught Rollins’ dive through the rope and threw him over the announcer’s desk.
Let threw Rollins into the ring, but Rollins hit with a pair of kicks, but lee caught him for a power slam.
Rollins countered it into a small package that Lee kicked out of.
A few kicked from Rollins finally dropped Lee to a knee, and a superkick put him down. Rollins readied himself to hit his Stomp, but Lee caught hit attempt and turned it into a Spirit Bomb.
Orton cut Lee off with an RKO, then pinned Rollins for the win to face Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions for the WWE Championship.
WWE Raw Results and Recap thinks this was a surprisingly good show with a fun ending that showed why Orton is the Viper.
