CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some spoilery goodies that are looking like a fun way to start off a new week.
It looks like a slow one to ease us back into things, and it’s a welcomed respite after the tension from the last couple of days.
It’s going to get really fun when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) pins Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to the chair and sticks her finger in his face.
But CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think it’s not because of Summer Newman (Hunter King). Not directly, anyway,
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to receive some popular advice from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) when she tells her she should leave Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
And to round out the episode in a cool triangle, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is going to experience a pleasant surprise when he’s proposed to by, we’re guessing, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Plenty of action to get us going, so let’s get started with some popcorn handy.

Kylie’s on the hot seat
Summer blaming Kyle for corrupting/convincing Summer to get married is the obvious choice, so CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are thinking there could be more to this than we’re being told.
Out thinking it his elopement is going to play heavily into this, but Phyllis also said she needs someone to help her that doesn’t have a stake in her fight with Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle).
So, who better than Kyle who has access to funds and a legal team and whatever else Phyllis might need?
We wouldn’t be surprised if she had a window where she can buy back the debt and will try to make a deal.
This could be entertaining for various reasons, so we’re going to be looking forward to it.
Chloe tells Chelsea to leave Adam
It was only a matter of time since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) visited Chelsea.
Assuming it’s probably a team of writers working this, we’re thinking apparently decided everyone offering the same advice should start and spread like a virus.
It makes sense with Chloe chiming in with the same advice Nick gave her, and we’re sure there’ll be others at some point.
Chelsea is already considering it, but will Chloe’s encouragement for her to cut the strings be the deciding vote, or will there need to be another?
Proposal time
While the preview could be using the word proposal in a different context, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think it’s meant at face value.
Plus, considering Rey has been there for Sharon no matter what, and he’s planning to move back in, what would be more perfect than Sharon proposing to him?
It’ll give Sharon something to look forward to as they celebrate and spend the rest of their lives together.
But will Rey accept?
There’s no denying he loves her, but he could view this as her attempting to live now in case the future isn’t there and accept only if they get married after her test results come back negative.
He could also accept and live every minute they have together as richly and fully as they can just in case.
Will Rey and Sharon get married?
