CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some spoilery goodies that are just going to make us grab some popcorn.
This episode looks like it’s going to be about actions taken and the consequences to come. Not that we mind, since it looks like it’s going to be a great show.
Given the chaos that ensued, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will be forced to try her hand at damage control between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
At least, that’s our opinion, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers could be wrong.
While that’s happening, Nate is going to receive a wakeup call that he won’t suspect and it’ll rock his world more than it already has been.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also have to deal with an emergency, and this could be interesting given everything else that’s going on around her.
Never a dull day in Genoa City, is there?
Repercussions
Nate is going to face some reality checks and they aren’t going to be something he’s going to like.
We expect Devon to threaten to pull his funding from the clinics, but Elena will talk him down from that.
Which means he’ll probably demand that Nate leave the clinics and he’ll also sever their friendship. It makes sense given what happened, but we expect something more, too.
To top it all off, Nate’s going to have one of his dreams shattered when he is told that Elena isn’t interested in him.
Since they slept together, she’s been destroyed by guilt while he’s been fantasizing about her.
Remember when he tried to gently nudge Devon toward Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) last week? Yep, that’s the reasoning to thinking this is going to be the crusher for him.
After their mistake, he was willing to risk everything to be with Elena and the finality of that not happening is going to crash down around him.
Emergency management
By the end of things, Phyllis may wish a volcano would open up and swallow Genoa City.
We think she’s going to be dealing with a fun crisis born out of Devon attacking Nate — bad publicity.
Yep, the other guests probably told their friends, tweeted about it, and maybe even called the police because of the altercation.
With one fell swoop, all of the great press Phyllis had managed to gain for the Grand Phoenix will be wiped away and she’ll probably hear Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s voice in the back of her head.
She’ll probably think she stepped into a Newman family war.
With plenty of excitement to go around, how do you think things will work out?
