With so many WWE stars making the switch from the ring to the television studios, this here doesn’t surprise us at all. There’s a new report that says WWE star Ronda Rousey will be reprising her role as Leno Bosko on the hit Fox series 9-1-1. Her character is a stoic and rather fearless member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 136. She’s definitely one who likes to leap in action to save lives whenever the timing calls! And from what we can tell already, Lena Bosko will definitely be needed for this upcoming season. That’s because a teaser trailer suggests that a tsunami will soon engulf the city of Santa Monica.
The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear. The show looks at the “high-pressure experiences of police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers who are thrust into frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations,” according to Deadline. The cast also includes, Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Jennifer Love Hewitt star, with Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Rockmond Dunbar and Ryan Guzman.
Ronda Rousey To Star In Season 3 Of 9-1-1
Just last year Ronda opened up about the challenges of acting and how she still considers herself to be a student, despite the fact that she has plenty of credits already listed under her name.
She told LRM in an interview back in 2018, “Well I’ve been studying acting since probably like about, 2013 and 2012. So, I still consider myself a student, and new, no matter how long I’ll be doing it. But I consider myself a student in all this. And I feel like being a student in itself is a skill. I try, I really pride myself in being a great student and trying to learn as quickly as possible. Honestly, that’s what motivates me the most, is learning things are new. I think that a lot of people doubt that anyone could master more than one thing. It’s easy to get stuck in, you know, you’re already good at this thing, you’re good at what’s comfortable.”
With that said, Ronda did add that she loves taking on new challenges. She added, “And it’s hard to try and learn something new with the world watching, because the first time you master something you do it in private. But I love those kind of challenges, and I love people doubting me. I’m just so lucky to be a part of this team , and to have Pete really believe in me. I feel like I have a huge responsibility to prove them right. There’s not many goals that I can look and doubt my ability to accomplish. And so, that’s the only thing to do, is to prove him right, make him look like a genius.”
