The final night of the WWE Draft took place last night on Monday Night Raw. One of the worst kept secrets it appeared was The Fiend moving to Monday night’s and that finally come to fruition very early on in the show as he was drafted to the red brand with the first pick.
The Fiend will bring an awful lot to Monday nights, and the first example of that was shown last night as he and Alexa Bliss attacked Andrade and Zelina Vega. But, who could The Fiend and Alexa Bliss target next?
WWE News: Randy Orton
Randy Orton is scheduled to take on Drew McIntyre at the upcoming Hell In A Cell PPV, but one rivalry that the WWE could revisit when that feud has been completed is Orton and Wyatt. The two superstars were locked in a vicious feud in the lead up to WrestleMania 33.
Orton won the Royal Rumble before turning on the Wyatt Family and emerging at Bray’s challenger for the WWE Championship at Mania. Orton was successful in beating Bray for the gold at Mania, which means that this is a wrong that The Fiend may look to right soon enough in a similar manner that he did with the defeat he suffered to John Cena.
WWE News: Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy was also drafted to Raw during the Draft on Monday night as he was selected in the second round. Hardy has been involved in the Intercontinental title picture over the last couple of months, but that came to an end as Sami Zayn regained his title at Clash of Champions.
Hardy will now look for something meaningful on Monday nights, and that could mean a rivalry with The Fiend. It would be fascinating to see the two superstars share the ring together, and they could tell a compelling story. However, it isn’t likely to be a long-term story.
WWE News: Drew McIntyre
Fans will probably not have to wait too long until The Fiend is back in the title picture, and that could mean a showdown with Drew McIntyre. The WWE may be best placed to keep The Fiend out of title matches for the time being, which means that there is more chance of this match happening further down the line.
But, when it does finally happen, it will present the most serve threat to McIntyre’s title reign to this point. Also, with the fact that The Fiend changes every superstar that he’s in the ring with, it could be a McIntyre heel turn, which is also exciting for fans.
