WWE Raw Draft Results (10/12) – Ricochet Defeated Cedric Alexander (w/MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley) by Disqualification; WWE Draft Round Six

WWE Raw Draft Results returned as Elis was approached backstage and he responded that it was the number one hit off his new Payback Jeff Hardy album.

He said he knows who hit him, and he’s not going to be like everyone else and forgive Jeff Hardy for what he did.

He added his new album “Universal Truth” is coming October 26, and next week he’ll have a special performance.

They started this segment off by replaying last week’s match between Mustafa Ali and MVP that led to Ali admitting he’s the leader of Retribution.

Maybe Ricochet is setting the Hurt Business up again?

Cedric Alexander (w/MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin) vs. Ricochet

It started with Alexander and Ricochet exchanging simultaneous rights, and Ricochet getting the better of the following exchange, and hitting a flying forearm out of the corner for a near pinfall.

Alexander his with a stomach slam, and a dropkick before pouncing on Ricochet to grind punches into him.

He followed that with a chop and a couple of kicks to Ricochet’s head. Alexander hit a snap suplex for a pinfall attempt.

A reverse chin lock followed, but Ricochet fought out of it until Alexanders caught him off the ropes with a clothesline and a near pinfall.

He locked in a front face lock to wear Ricochet down.

Ricochet kept fighting back and rolled Alexander up for a near pin, then hit a suplex for another pin attempt.

Ricochet missed a 630 off the top rope and rolled through it, then caught Alexander with a couple of kicks after absorbing some punches.

Alexander hit with a Mishinoku driver for a near pinfall. Ricochet’s kickout sent Alexander into the referee, knocking him senseless, and MVP decided a steel chair was needed.

Ricochet intercepted the chair and stood in a standoff until the referee got to his feet. Ricochet then hit the mat, threw the chair to Alexander, and dropped like a sack of potatoes.

Ricochet won by dis qualification, but the Hurt Business thought it best to beat Ricochet some for his treachery afterwards, but ricochet rolled out of the ring.

Looks like he outsmarted the Hurt Business and they have to leave him alone.

WWE Draft sixth round selections:

Raw selected Titus O’Neal

Smackdown selected Carmella. No surprise there after the mystery woman vignettes.

Raw selected Peyton Royce.

Smackdown selected Aleister Black.

And to close it out, Raw picked up Akira Tozawa.

The rest of the picks will be announced on Raw Talk after the show.

Not too many surprises in this batch, though WWE Raw Draft Results are interesting in what happens after the show.
