Originally meant to be the Buy In match, this is a battle of complete opposites. Orange Cassidy is cool, calm a0nd collected. John Silver is a bundle of hyperactive aggression. However, they’re both incredible wrestlers, and they won’t take this PPV singles spot lightly. Silver has been attacking OC for weeks, ever since OC challenged Mr. Brodie Lee for the TNT Championship, and eventually enough is enough.
John Silver Takes Orange Cassidy’s Pockets
OC would start this match like always, his opponent mouthing off, and him putting his hands deep in those pockets as Silver BEGGED him to not do it. Silver went for a punch but missed and was taken down to the mat, with OC getting a crucifix pinfall attempt. Back to their feet, hands back in pockets and OC launched dangerous low kicks, and then dodged a punch and hit a front dropkick. Silver hit a scoop slam and took the hands out OC’s pockets, and then ripped the pockets out of his pants, and ate them! This madman!
A mid-kick from Silver sent OC into the corner, and Silver would hit a big elbow and then throw OC across the ring. He’s small but mighty, and showed it wasn’t a fluke as he threw him again. OC would be choked with the boot of Silver, and OC finally got moving and wanted the Satellite DDT, but Silver squatted to block, then hit a suplex!
Silver hit a roundhouse kick, and just threw OC around the ring a bit more. OC was having a hard time, but rolled over the top rope and slammed Silvers head into the turnbuckle beforing hitting a diving crossbody and finally getting the DDT. Silver would narrowly escape the diving DDt by punching OC before he took flight, and tried for the superplex. OC fought him off, but Silver took him off the top rope with one hand and tried for the Spin Doctor, but OC countered and hit a Michinoku Driver.
Pulling From Mr. Brodie Lee’s Playbook
OC would try for Beach Break, but Silver fought out and hit some more hard kicks, but OC popped right up and tried for Orange Punch. Silver dodged and almost got pinned with a backslide, but he went for a suplex, with OC countering into the stunner. OC didn’t stay on top long, as Silver got Spin Doctor, his finisher only getting a two count!
Silver would try for the finisher of Brodie Lee, but missed the Discuss Lariat. One Orange Punch and Beach Break would take Silver down. John Silver didn’t win this match, but he showed he’s a singles star in the making. Should John Silver break away from Dark Order and try for the TNT Championship?
