Looks like Impact Wrestling Preview is in for a treat this week with some tag team action, though the why is kind of a mystery to us.
The match itself isn’t as much a mystery as how Eric Young and Sami Callihan became a team, and what does that mean for Ken Shamrock?
Still, we expect a good match with Shamrock lurking outside the ring waiting to do more damage.

After overcoming all of the obstacles Eric Young put in front of him, Rich Swann finally got his revenge by cleanly pinning Eric Young for the Impact World Championship at Bound For Glory.
What was more impressive was his relatively quick work of Young last week in an impromptu rematch to start the show.
Afterwards, Swann quickly learned there’s a line of challengers forming as he was confronted backstage by Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock.
It was an intense moment that set up what looks like a promising feud.
But that’s where things got strange for us. While Shamrock has been Callihan’s attack dog, it’d make sense they’d be on the same team like previously.
Disharmony
Instead, it was announced that Callihan and Young were teaming up to face their old enemies.
There’s a logic to it, but we don’t really see how it’ll work so Impact Wrestling Preview will have to wait until tonight to see if anymore nugget of information drop.
To be honest, we’re interested to see how Callihan and Young get along as it’s hard to see their personalities coexisting.
Although, maybe Callihan found a way to manage or control Young like he has Shamrock? That’s both cool and horrifying when thinking of the carnage that trio could wreak on everyone.
Because of that, we expect this to be a fun match leaning heavily to the brutal side as everyone involved loves to mix it up. In the end, we think it’s going to come down to Shamrock and what he does.
To offset Shamrock’s X factor status, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Willie Mack with Edwards and Swann.
It’d make sense they’d want to cover their backsides since you never know when Shamrock will be summoned.
We have a feeling that this could be a special combination if done right.
