We are gradually getting closer and closer to the final appearance that the Undertaker will make in a WWE ring. It was revealed a couple of months ago that the Dead Man will be appearing at the Survivor Series PPV to bring a close to his career after officially announcing his retirement during The Last Ride documentary series on the WWE Network. However, the huge event will likely also come with a number of surprises for the WWE Universe, but what could potentially happen on his final appearance.
WWE News: Special Guests
It hasn’t been announced whether The Undertaker will be appearing in character or not at present, which means fans could be treated to one final promo. However, there will likely be a number of special guests that make an appearance during his final segment at Survivor Series. It has also been revealed that Savio Vega will be in attendance for the show, while Rikishi is another name that has been rumoured to be appearing.
It has also been revealed over the past couple of days that Kane will also be at the event, which means a reunion between the Brothers Of Destruction could be on the cards. Fans may be disappointed if superstars such as Shawn Michaels and Triple H aren’t in attendance to pay homage to the Dead Man as Taker enjoyed some of his finest matches with the DX duo. However, it is likely to be an emotional night regardless as Taker brings the curtain down on his 30 year career.
WWE News: Could A Present Superstar Have Other Plans?
Of course, no farewell ever goes smoothly, which means that there could be a superstar currently on the WWE roster that may try and make a name for themselves as the Dead Man’s expense. Retribution have gone cold over the past couple of weeks, and this may be seen as an opportunity for fans to truly turn against the faction led by Ali. Elias is also another superstar that isn’t a stranger to trying to make a name for himself at the expense of a legend, and his interruption could lead to fans seeing the Undertaker deliver one final Tombstone.
Fans may also believe that The Fiend could get involved in the segment, as it has been teased for a couple of weeks by both and Alexa Bliss. That could potentially set up one final match for Taker against The Fiend at Mania next year.
