There doesn’t seem to be much of a rush on SmackDown to put together their team that will be representing the blue brand at Survivor Series, as only one woman has earned her spot on the team thus far. Bianca Belair became the first woman on the team during last week’s episode of SmackDown, and we could be set to find out some of the superstars that may be joining her on SmackDown this evening. But, which women could we seem teaming with Belair to take on the team that Raw have assembled?
WWE News: Carmella
Carmella will be one of the standout contenders to join the team at Survivor Series after she recently returned to action with a new persona. She is a former women’s champion on SmackDown, and is in great need of something interesting to get her teeth into over the next couple of weeks to ensure that her return doesn’t fall flat.
It could be an interesting couple of months for Carmella, as she is one of the legit challengers on the blue brand that could be in line for a title opportunity after Survivor Series.
WWE News: Ruby Riott And Liv Morgan
Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan will likely be joining the SmackDown team to fill up two spaces after being drafted to SmackDown following the draft. The tag team haven’t been involved in a serious storyline since being drafted to the blue brand, but their reputation as a tag team could mean that they are best placed to join the team.
Morgan and Riott were last involved in an angle with The Iconics, but there is still a lot of expectation that the team could soon become tag team champions for the first time in their WWE careers.
WWE News: Natalya
The SmackDown women’s roster isn’t nearly as stacked as the Raw roster, which means that the names that could join the team are few and far between. However, one of the other standout contenders is Natalya, who was drafted to the blue brand recently. Natalya left Raw after her friendship with Lana came to an end, with the latter eliminating Natalya to earn a title opportunity.
It could add a unique dynamic in the match, as they clearly still have unfinished business, and Lana is set to represent Raw unless she picks up an injury because of the amount of tables that she has been going through over recent weeks.
