Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re all set for the Survivor Series aftermath as there’s a fresh slate of possibilities ahead that could be fun.
We’re going to grab some snacks and settle in for the 8 p.m. EST showtime, so WWE Raw Live Results will see you then!
Segment 1
The show opened with Adam Pearce giving the victorious Team Raw an opportunity to state their cases for a chance to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
Some great barbs were exchanged, and Riddle made Keith Lee break out laughing before Strowman lost his cool and threw Pearce to the mat.
Segment 2
Raw Tag Team Championship – The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) (w/MVP and Bobby Lashley)
It started with benjamin dominating Woods to start off, and nailing Kingston with a knee on the apron as we headed to commerical.
Segment 3
Benjamin hit Kingston with a kick on the floor but failed to get him into the ring before the countout.
Woods demanded the referee follows the rules and give them their championships, but MVP challenged them to continue the match and the New Day grudgingly agreed.
So, it’s going to continue after the commercial. Woods is going to turn heel. Just a hunch.
Segment 4
A great back and forth match saw the New Day win when Woods countered Benjamin’s powerbomb with a sunset flip for the win.
Lashley will talk with Pearce about him having a shot at McIntyre’s Championship.
Segment 5
Lashley and Orton threw their hats into the WWE Championship picture, so Adam Pearce announced they’ll face of fin 3 singles matches tonight.
The winners will face each other next week and the winner there will face McIntyre.
Segment 6
Riddle vs. Sheamus
THe first of three singles matches Pearce made was a brutally physcial one as Sheamus hit an Alabama Slam as we headed to commerical.
Segment 7
Riddle one by reversing a Cloverleaf into a pin attempt, but the match deserved better. It was a weak ending as Sheamus stepped over and rolled Riddle onto his back.
Segment 8
Firefly Fun House
We got to meet a new character, Friendship Frog, that Alexa Bliss smashed as they promoted her match against Nikki Cross alter tonight.
Segment 9
Raw Women’s Championship – Asuka (c) vs. Lana
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler came out, and the match lasted about 5 moves before they assualted Asuka and Jax was going to put her through the announce table.
Lana pulled Asuka off, and they then accepted a tag match against Jax and Baszler. We assume it’s a non title match.
Segment 10
Tag Team Match – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka and Lana
This was a decent match along the lines of what we expected. Lana fought back but was brutalized thoughtout the match.
She dodged a charge by Jax that sent Jax over the announce table. Baszler locked in the Coquina Clutch on Lana through theropes, but Asuka rolled Baszler up for the pin.
About time they gave Lana a win after all they put her through.
Segment 11
Keith Lee vs. Bobby Lashley (w/MVP)
This has a fun test of power early on, but Lashley gained the upper hand thanks to MVP distracting Lee.
Lashley hoisted Lee onto his shoulder and drove him into the ring post as we headed to commerical.
Segment 12
A good physical match ended in DQ when MVP attacked Lee before he could beat Lashley.
Obviously this was done to keep both of them looking strong, but it feels cheap since Keith Lee can’t lose cleanly.
Segment 13
Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross
Bliss toyed with Cross throughout, but when Bliss broke down and Cross fell for it, she hit a version of Sister Abigail for the win.
Segment 14
We were treated to an awesome tribute to the Undertaker with old clips and interviews of some of the greats he worked with for years.
Thank you for everything, Undertaker. Enjoy you well-deserved retirement.
Segment 15
Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles (w/Jordan)
This started off fast with a couple of pin attempts by Styles, but it turned serious quickly when Styles suplexed Orton onto the announce desk as we headed to commerical.
Segment 16
This was a good match that Styles won with a Phenominal Forearm and thanks to the Fiend.
The Fiend appeared twice, and the last time he distracted Orton for Styles to hit the Phenominal Forearm.
This was a pretty fun show and the matches were mostly top notch.
