The odds are always the best way to examine what could look most likely in WWE, and that is also the case when it comes to matches that could be taking place next year.
The markets for the Royal Rumble match winners are open 12 months before the match itself takes place, and the Rumble isn’t the only huge PPV that fans will be able to bet on.
WWE News: Roman Reigns Dominates Market
It is hard to argue against the belief that Roman Reigns is the best thing about WWE at present, and the odds would also suggest that his run as a monster heel will also lead to a massive WrestleMania main event in 2021. The favourite to be his opponent in the main event at present is Big E, who is also the favourite to win the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Few would argue against this match if this was the direction that the WWE would be heading in. A match against Reigns would certainly elevate Big E to the main event, and regardless of the result, he will be made to look a million dollar in the ring with the Big Dog. It would be disappointing for some fans to see Big E lose the championship match after getting that far, but there is no doubt that at some point in the future, he will be holding a world title.
WWE News: Reigns vs Rock Still On The Cards
It would seem as though the rumours of a potential match between The Rock and Reigns are still yet to die down, as a huge showdown between those two is still considered the second favourite in the betting market. In total, Reigns is involved in four of the top five selections in the betting market, as bouts with Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar also feature heavily in the betting.
The lowest priced non-Reigns match is a rematch from last year’s Mania between Orton and Edge, while McIntyre vs Orton is also one of the shortest priced options. Charlotte Flair is also expected to return at some point in the near future, and she is 16/1 to face Asuka in the main event at WrestleMania 37. Other popular selections in the market include McIntyre vs Sheamus, Orton vs Wyatt and Reigns vs Daniel Bryan.
