Legado Del Fantasma took to the ring to brag about the year they had. Santos Escobar has been able to rise to the top of the NXT Cruiserweight division, and remains untouchable. Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde are just a few wins from being NXT Tag Team Champions, and few will step up to them. However, two men are sick of them claiming they own lucha libre. Lucha House Party is back in NXT!
Metalik & Dorado wasted no time hitting the ring, and the match was quickly made official. Before the break, Wilde & Mendoza were sent to the outside, hit with dives, and given a chance to catch their breath before locking up with The King of The Ropes & The Golden Lynx.
There’s No Party Like A Lucha House Party
Coming back from the break, Metalik was in-control of the match and hit a rope walk hurricanrana on Wilde. Dorado tagged in and hit a hurricanrana of his own, before Mendoza tagged in and was taken down. A springboard moonsault dropped Wilde, but when Dorado went back to the ropes for a handspring, Mendoza grabbed the legs and let Wilde get a low dropkick.
Legado Del Fantasma took control of Dorado with a double suplex, slowing the pace right down. This wouldn’t last when Metalik got the tag and moved with incredible agility and precision, getting a superkick, reverse slingblade and springboard dropkick with the greatest of ease. Lucha House Party made quick tags, got a top from Frankensteiner into a diving splash, but Wilde made a save.
Gran Metalik Wants Some Gold
Wilde was sent to the apron and Metalik took him out with a hurricanrana over the top rope. Dorado dropped Mendoza in the ring, and a rope walk elbow drop from Metalik won this one. Metalik afterwards gestured around his waist, where the NXT Cruiserweight Championship could reside soon.
