WWE Raw Results were backstage where Orton sat contemplating the night’s events when a knock sounded on his door. He opened it but no one was there.
When he started to close it, Ramblin’ Rabbit appeared in the doorway and said Wyatt can’t wait to face him in the ring.
Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
Orton showed no fear, and there was an intensity in Wyatt we don’t usually see.
After locking up, Orton put him in a side headlock and Wyatt threw him off the ropes and connected with a shoulder block.
Orton hit with a kick, knee, a right, and an uppercut that sent Wyatt to the floor.
Orton followed him out and slammed Wyatt’s head into the announce table. Orton tried to suplex him onto the announce desk, but Wyatt fought out of it and suplex Orton onto it.
Wyatt then chased the announcers away as he tried to grab the microphone and announced, “Yowie wowie! We’ll be right back.”
Surprise for Orton
Back from commercial and we’re back in the ring with Orton in control as he stomped onWyatt’s anle and then his chest.
Orton hit with a knee and choked Wyatt out, but Wyatt never stopped smiling.
Wyatt hit a few shots to the throat, but ran into a reverse elbow after he threw Orton into the corner.
Orton hit a knee drop for a pin attempt. Orton then stomped him again and slapped on a reverse chin lock.
Wyatt powered to his feet and broke the hold and hit with an elbow.
Orton slammed Wyatt into the mat for a pin attempt and hen went back to the reverse chin lock.
Wyatt hit a series of elbows, but Orton his with a knee and came off the ropes into a clothesline.
Wyatt hit a coupe of rights and then an atomic drop. Wyatt followed that with a splash and a crossbody, then a DDT for a near pinfall.
Wyatt picked Orton up by his chin and went for a Sister Abigail, but Orton slipped out and hit a neckbreaker for a pin attempt.
Orton used his Orton Stomp on Wyatt and picked him up on he apron and hit a headbutt.
Orton followed him out of the ring and suplexed Wyatt onto the announce desk before throwing Wyatt into the ring.
Orton climbed in and Wyatt grabbed him and set up for another Sister Abigail attempt, but Orton got loose, stuck a thumb in his eye, and then tossed Wyatt to the apron.
Orton then hit a draping DDT and readied for an RKO when the lights started to go out.
Orton hit an RKO before the lights went completely and went for the pin, but that’s when the lights switched off.
The Fiend’s music played and the red lights came on and Orton was attempting to pin the Fiend.
The Fiend slapped on a mandible claw and overpowered Orton’s attempts to stop him.
This was the perfect ending to the match to really raise the stakes for next week and TLC after that.
The show was really good overall, and it could’ve been better without so many recaps slowing it up.
