In a few days, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) takes over Tokyo Dome once again for two nights of Wrestle Kingdom action. Kazuchika Okada has a grudge match with Will Ospreay set for the event, and intends to steal the show, like usual. His thoughts are set beyond even that match though, and as we enter a new year, Okada wants to unite the wrestling world like never before.

Kazuchika Okada Wants NJPW, WWE, AEW, CMLL & AAA To Run A Supershow Together

During 2020, one of the few industries that didn’t stop was the professional wrestling industry. While there were some missteps along the way, the show went on. Companies like WWE & AEW never slowed down due to taping shows, while NJPW went out of action for months. Despite this, fans never lost hope, thanks in part to wrestling.

Now, Okada wants to give back to fans in a huge way. Wrestle Kingdom 15: Kazuchika Okada eyes big match vs Will Ospreay – Sports Illustrated, he would propose what could be the biggest show in professional wrestling history.

“Times are tough right now, but I hope what we do will bring joy to everyone all over the world, and give them enough strength and positivity to do their best the next day. And when the world calms down, I would like to give back with other wrestling companies to all wrestling fans in the world who still support us even in this current situation. New Japan, WWE, AEW, CMLL, AAA all together. Sounds pretty cool, don’t you think?”

Not Impossible, Just Very Unlikely

Saying this sounds cool is perhaps the understatement of a century, as this would be nothing short of incredible. A show with that much talent from all around the wrestling world could sell out just about any arena. Even if it was full of tag team matches, getting to see someone like Kazuchika Okada potentially share the ring with Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns or even Kenny Omega again? That would be huge.

However, getting all those companies to work together would be a monumental task. However, this show isn’t impossible, just don’t hold your breath. Do you think Okada could inspire such a big show? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
